I’m Raymond, born and raised in LA, currently living in NYC.
I graduated from Brown in 2023 with a degree in computer science and economics. After a few unfulfilled post-grad years in fintech, I’ve decided to go all-in on building a life driven by creativity, ownership, and meaningful work.
Most of my energy flows into transferring my life philosophy into my clothing brand, Flores de Oro. I’m figuring it out as I go, and through sharing my story, I hope to inspire others to start something of their own.
leap years is my favorite way of storytelling. Starting up this slice-of-life newsletter in February 2024 and developing a consistent writing habit has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
I like to write often, I like to write in-media-res, as I share the business challenges, life changes, and floating ideas that shape me into the person I want to become.
